One Step From Eden caught my attention because its gameplay looks similar to the MegaMan Battle Network series. I loved those games and I was unsure if we'd get a new one until recently when I believe the developers asked if fans were interested.
But enough about MegaMan Battle Network..

So I'm happy to learn that an indie developer is working on a game with inspiration from it.Development started in April 2016. I felt a Megaman Battle Network sized void that no other game could fill, so I decided to make one myself. I was also a huge fan of Faster than Light, Nuclear Throne, and other roguelikes. The deckbuilding mechanics ended up working really well after figuring out a prototype that would let players use cards in realtime.
Some Of Its Gameplay:
Features:
- 9+ Playable characters and Bosses
- 40+ Unique evolving enemies
- Deckbuilding with 200+ spells
- 100+ strategy changing items
- Procedurally generated worlds and battles
- Life or death choices and alternate endings
- Local co-op and PvP (really excited for PvP and I'm hoping it's online play)
