One thing you'd bring back from Retro games

Looking back it seems the older games had a lot to offer that has for the most part been lost to time. Things like 8-bit music, limited saves, and a few other things.

If I had to pick one thing though it would be how when a game was released it had to be a complete game due to the lack of an online service to provide patches. When you bought a game you knew it had been tested to make sure there were fewer if any bugs and you didn't have to spend time afterwards updating it

Probably limited saves. Nowadays you can save the game so often and it's boring. xD

making it limited makes you more careful within the game, don't waste the saves! put them to good use! xD

Highscore systems. While some modern games still use score, I believe more AAA's should use it, and I don't mean collectables or A-F ranking but a good old fashioned numerical highscore that's on pinball tables.

The difficulty, pure and simple. No more easy modes that devaluate the value of having finished a game.

Finished games on release day. So we don't have to spend so much on extra stuff. While I do love downloading additional features, I hate the some companies purposely leave stuff out just to make extra money.

I would really like to see the old simple 8-bit music brought back. Now don't get me wrong, music in todays games are great and all, but there's something really happy and nice about the old games and there just little simple tunes for the whole game.

I really would love to see the challenging features in the old retro games in the new ones >.> All the new games seem a lot too easy and gets easier everytime in some way or the other . So I'd love to see the difficult challenges back from those old retro games :D

I want the games to be challenging again. A lot of the older games took months to beat, nowadays if you buy a game it'll probably take a few days to beat and another week to 100%. I want to relive struggles faced in the past, not fly by the most challenging parts in an hour.

I miss having a challenge in games, I know most of us mentioned that but that just means we all notice it. I remember going back to play some of my old games and it took some time to actually get through. Don't get me wrong the games these days are fun, it's just they go to quickly....And then you're looking for something else.
