Online smash = Really laggy

Every time I go on online smash battling seems slow and really laggy. It happens to both the 3DS and Wii U version. I know that this happens to everyone when they are playing smash online, but doesn't it get really annoying especially when your playing a tourney or you fighting for glory.

Yeah. It happens to me on occasion. Sometimes I get into these lobbies that don't have lag but all my actions are delayed for almost a second which really messes with my mojo because I have no idea what's going to happen next. Luckily, I usually get disconnected from those matches.

Man, that is some really bad lag in that video. I can see why you'd be frustrated. I rarely play online when playing Smash, but when I do I don't have much of a problem. I've only had it maybe once or twice where I had to leave the match because of it and that was on the Wii U version of it. Either I just have really good internet connection or I'm just really lucky XD

Holy crap that video was laggy. I've experienced spikes of lag every now and then, but not that often. I play on 3ds but I always have good connection. I dunno why, I always thought that the 3ds would be laggier because of it's online capacity. I would say that maybe it's your internet, but you said you had four bars. I think one of the main posts in this sub addresses this problem and ways to fix it.
