SSB for 3DS Only Two Concern With Mewtwo DLC

With mewtwo DLC almost completed it's has brought of a few Concerns with it and I will now Share them with you
1.What if he just ends up being a Clone of Lucario
and
2.What about those who couldnt get both games,what about them? will they be able to buy the Mewtwo DLC?
 
I'd like to think he's not JUST a clone of Lucario since it took this long to make. I noticed they changed Lucario a bit and he doesn't feel nearly as floaty as he did in Brawl so I'm sure that'll help differentiate the two. Don't think Nintendo has said anything about selling Mewtew later on as DLC, I'm sure they will though. Because why take so much time to make another character and only give it out to a relatively small group of people?
 
Why would Mewtwo be a clone of Lucario ? He was present in the Smash series before Lucario so if clone there is, Lucario is the clone.
And I think I'll more or less get hiw moveset from Melee, not a copy of an existing moveset. Obviously with changes (bye Falco) but still inspired from this one and not from an existing character.
 
I hope that Mewtwo will be more different that Lucario and hopefully not exactly the same . Also I would say that I really agreed on your second statement . It really strikes me kinda weird that you have to register both console games . I wouldn't expect EVERYONE to have both the Wii U and the 3ds . Hopefully the DLC won't be too cheap though :/
 
I hope you can buy it seperately! I shared my 3ds code with someone who only owns the Wii U version, but I'm getting a Wii U soon. I want Mewtwo on both consoles, not just my 3ds.
 
True. I really hope those who didn't buy both games can buy the DLC. Also, somethings are bound to be different. The reward for buying both games wouldn't be so crappy as to be a clone of Lucario, and, as Lucario's moveset from Brawl has changed, even if the keep mewtwo's moves from Melee they would be different.
 
Everyone knows Mewtwo has never been a clone. Lucario has a rage effect no other character has and therefore is hard for Lucario to KO, while Mewtwo has had really strong up and back throws so he'd be OP. Of course Mewtwo is going to be purchasable DLC or else why else would they have it? To influence people to get both games?

I don't have both versions of smash so if they make it a purchase, a purchase I will make.
 
If you have played project m i doubt he will be a clone in fact it seems some om aspects have been put in smash 4 p.s: i am sure that it will be a buyable dlc in the future

I think that Mewtwo is like a semi clone of Lucario, since they both use their energy in their attacks: Lucario has his aura while Mewtwo has his dark energy. Lucario and Mewtwo knows Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball, which is almost the same. That's all that I can pick out.

Mewtwo isn't that much of a clone of Lucario. There are some differences like being able to travel farther since he is floaty and also the fully charged shadow ball pushes him depending on the direction you are facing. Good thing that your attack power doesn't increase when taking a lot of damage or else there would be a problem.

Mewtwi is not a clone because he appeared in super smash bros melee and lucario came out in super smash bros brawl. But mewtwo is nothing like lucario I would say he is better than lucario because he has a powerful throw and powerful smashes. Lucario only has a rage affect that can kill very early

Yeah, but that can't be true. The developers could have made Lucario have Mewtwo's moveset when Mewtwo was scrapped in ssbb. You never know, then they could be clones of each other. But the wiki even said that Mewtwo could be a semi clone due to their distinct differences in their movesets. Also, I think Lucario ended up becoming a semi clone because Masahiro didn't want clones taking over in Webb.

that could be true but they are very different. For example their Recovery Mewtwo has a way different recovery than mewtwo because mewtwo teleports. And their up smash is just so different. The only same thing they have is the special. Which is aura sphere that the only thing they have common in
