When I saw this I couldn't believe it! Two of my favorite Mario RPGs coming together in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam! I already heard music in it and saw gameplay of it and it's really awesome! Buying it the day it releases! Can't wait! :D

I just googled it, looks awesome! In particular this picture:

I just like Bowser. :p
I really like the Mario & Luigi series (though Dream Team Bros. was less fun than Bowsers Inside Story) but I never played any of the paper mario games. Are they any good?

It appears to be more like M&L style but with neat platforming from TTYD (or al least the Paper Mario sideways part as we know so far) and a new type of fighting. However the concept art shows the book from Sticker Star and Owata asks says Nintendo negotiated with AlphaDream on their suggestions for the game. That already makes me skeptical. Here's gameplay footage:
Dang Luigi, they have to make a whole plot based on comedy. That's really dumb.

This game looks okay to me. Nintendo basically combined Mario and Luigi: Dream Team and Paper Mario Sticker Star (Both which are games I have not played) and somehow came up with this RPG. That is actually pretty creative, since you are mixing two Mario games into one, kind of like a bundle.

Its ok I guess, but not a substitute for another paper mario game. I am really hyped though for this game, it will be a fantastic mario and luigi game but trust me, its no substitute for another paper mario game, its mario and luigi elements with paper mario characters and sprites in it. I really am excited for this game but hopefully, Nintendo does not substitute this for a paper mario game, I hope a paper mario game comes next year.

I am actually really excited, compared to these mixed opinions. I'm a big fan of Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi, and I'm excited that Nintendo went through with such a creative idea. I also enjoy the music very much. Definitely buying it when it comes out.

Cool a combination. It makes so much sense, they both have the same battle system, how could they not have cross paths. I'm loving the title, Paper Jam.
Oooh. :greedy::greedy::greedy:

i think mario papper jam is so great. to be honest i did not play it. but it was butiful.

The game suprisingly doesn't feature any characters (aside from Starliw) or locations that originate from M&L or PM, despite being a crossover of the two series. It doesn't have any of its own unique characters or areas either, there's just Mario characters in a boring-looking Mushroom Kingdom. But the overworld is at least still fun to explore, and I think the game does a good job with the characters it has. There aren't any 2D sections like the Dream World, or Giant battles, and the game doesn't make use gyro/mic/touch controls. But it does have Papercraft battles... They're not really a great part of the game, but I'd say they're more fun to play than Giant battles. And there're the Paper Toad missions, which are mostly just minigames or rounds of Hide'n'Seek around the overworld. Some of them are fun, but others are just annoying. But this game is pretty fun at the least.
