I wanted to know what you guys think of Jigs and was wondering if you know some tricks too :D

My Random Stuff to Say:
She is an interesting character with probably the best air-game in Smash 4.
Jigs is really light though, I think it's her biggest weakness
Rest Is amazing if you land it, I find air-dodging into it effective.

I think she's around mid-tier, what about you guys?

I don't think she's bad her slowness and lightness is her weakness also her rest attack to. if you miss it your wide open for a very long time that's why when I choose her I get close to my opponent and when the attack I grouch into a rest attack because nearly every fighter can miss jigs while she's grouching. just a hunch :)

I bet she is slow and takes time when using her moves she was like that in Super Smash Bros64 but if you can use her well then your a boss gamer and fighter, she is more of a distant fighter try using a an item then use her moves.

Can I just say that we have no idea what Smash Jigglypuff's gender is?

Anyway, Jigglypuff is a okay choice, might not be the best, but a interesting main.

I think that JigglyPuff is one of the decent characters that I would say . I don't play him/her alot but it is really hard to land some of the moves . You may barely see anyone who mains JigglyPuff but whenever there is one , they are really hardcore :p . I play JigglyPuff on some occasions to try out her moves and different abilities but I sometimes find it hard to fully understand its moveset and effectively fight :jawdrop:

I main Jigs btw, I wanted to hear what others think about it, thanks for your opinions So far!

I tried Jigglypuff before, and Im very bad with it:p. But Ive seen some really good replays with Jiggly users. I think that Jigglypuff is a good character overall. Besides, we all have different mains that suit our playstyle. I like how her Rest move is very deadly:eek:. And also so random.

A few things. Jiggly's quite good, and it's lightness makes for good recovery, but also lets Jiggly get launched pretty far. It's moves are nothing special, especially with rollout being basically the same as Yoshi's side B. Rest is, I think, a waste of time, and gives your opponents extra time to hit, and sing only hits in a somewhat small range. The move itself also takes too long XD.

My opinion on jigs would have to be that she's not as bad as some people say, I mean if she was bad to play as why is she in every single smash game? I'm not good at playing as jiggly puff, but I try, her recovers good, in my opinion. She's a one of those neutral characters that most people over look and think she is a waist of time to play as, but if people gave her a chance they'd see she's actually a really fun character to play as. P.S. I assumed she was a girl

I actually like jiggly puff in this one I don't really kno what they changed about here but I'm kinda glad they did. At first I thought rest was dumb but then I found out that it send them flying if you time it right.what I like to do with her is jump towards enemies and when u get close enough u sing so by the time you hit the floor they are asleep and have a good amount of time to hit the with rest. And bye bye goes the foe

I never actually quite knew how to properly use Jigglypuff in a smash fight and I probably never will. She (He?) used to seem like a troll character to me simply because of the fact that one of her moves made her fall asleep. I know now that Jiggly is an OP character if you use her right, but she's simply not my kind of character.

Alright, as a Jigglypuff player [far from a main], I'd like to add my two cents into the discussion with a list of pros and cons that are comprised from my time playing Jiggs in Smash 4 ONLY.

PROS:
- Jigglypuff is an amazing air fighter, having multiple jumps, Jiggs can maneuver around dominate close range fighters like Little Mac and ultimate eek out damage with nair and fair pokes.
- Jigglypuff has insane recovery, consider the loftiness/floaty physics a con if you will but there are situations where you want to land safely on the stage without your opponent dash attacking you and Jiggs can do just that if you are telegraphing where you'll land.
- Jigglypuff is small and has an even shorter duck/crouch. You can completely avoid attacks like a full charge arrow from either of the Links or the blaster from Fox or Falco by just holding down. This makes projectile game or more specifically the space animals projectile game, useless in the face of this Pokemon.

CONS:
- Jigglypuff has little reach on most of it's moves and because of this, suffers to resorting to getting up close to an opponent or in general having to put oneself in unsavory positions.
- Jigglypuff has some of the WORST specials/b moves in the ENTIRE SERIES. Some would argue that down b is an amazing move, and if this were Melee I'd agree it is! But this being Smash 4, and Sakurai having nerfed it in power kinda makes that moves not as reliable as before.
- Jigglypuff is not a speedy fighter whatsoever, lacking the ability to keep up with the likes of Sonic, Fox, Shiek and Diddy and barely keeping up with the likes of Charizard, Falco, Lucario and Zelda. Jiggs players will be forced into playing a mean game of bait and punish or just waiting for the opponent to slip up most of the time but when they do you can be assured that Jigglypuff's offensive prowess will shine with the right followups and reads.

Hopefully I broke down some of Jigglypuff's gameplay down, this character is really fun to play actually and is definitely one of my favorites!

Jigglypuff is a great character, in my opinion. While it lacks speed and weight, it makes up for in power and technique. You want to make sure that you keep a small distance from your enemy as if Jiggly puff is caught, it can end fatally. Rolling into Rest can prove affective and with bigger characters like Bowser and DK, you can dash into Rest and it will come into contact with them. Jigglypuff has great air priority so be sure to try and keep your opponent off the ground.

Patience as well as skill is needed to shine with Jigglypuff, but after you got it down, it will be a cakewalk!

I love playing with Jigglypuff! it's such strong character and pretty fast, also his recovery is pretty good kind of hard to get fall from the stage without getting back to the ring easily. She is acctually one of my mains! :D
