Paint Worksop or Art academy :(

I know I asked this a thousand times, but I still trying to decide what to get,I have $8.00,should I get Comic or paint workshop or a old version of Art Academy
(Or should I wait and be patient?) I'm drawing ALOT more now and I really need to use a better tool than the miiverse pen....

I recommend comic workshop over painting workshop. If possible, purchase comic workshop 2 instead. Well I reviewed both comic and painting workshop in 3DS Pedia site (except comic workshop 2, tho).

About art academy, I haven't tried it.

Is there a BIG difference between the 2? I saw the first had a lot of glitches but..some say it was exactly as the second one, is there something major or?...
