Yup. What used to cost $29.99 USD on the eshop has now become free to play.
Now not all the champions will be available right away like in the $29.99 version but you can unlock them by playing the game.

Since Overwatch is slowly becoming less and less popular, I’m defined gonna give it a try.​

i will have it dowloading in the nigth, since my internet is very bad

i am curius about this game because of the "fantasy setting" in a shooter

maybe i wont like it because i dont tend to like most shooters in general, but its free so if i dont like it i can simply delete it withouth problems

sounds cool, i might as well check it out for the heck of it since its free :p love that coverart, very attractive !
 
I tried it. Its fun. The characters are different enough from the overwatch counterpart, like rignhardt has a flamethrower and you can choose between variants of the same character, like rinhardt with invincible shield that lasts 6 seconds, or rindhart 900 health shield that has a 12 second cooldown when you put it away. This is more of a numbers game, and the game lets you change the numbers like its a Rp game. Pretty neat.

Yep. Its just another way to unlock oll the hero’s. It takes awhile to unlock all of them without paying money for the premium currency.

I'm not really fond of the art style choice for most of the characters, however the games I tried ran pretty great. I can see myself playing a few games every few days or so and slowly unlocking everyone. I would still rather Overwatch, but this is a good fill in .
