Mario is made out of paper??? what happened? xD

anyone played any of the games? did you enjoy it?

I think I played one for the Wii, but I guess I didn't really get into it...

The first Paper Mario game for the 64 has always been and will continue to be my favorite Mario game. I think I replay that game at least once a year.

My absolute favorite Mario game is actually Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. I have played that game no less than ten times. I have also played Super Paper Mario, but just could not get into it. The first Paper Mario, I have not played. I thought TTYD was (and still is) a masterpiece.

I played all 4 of them and i enjoyed 3 of them, sticker star almost got me bored that i almost sold my copy to someone, Paper Mario was fun to do badge only run, Paper Mario: TTYD was perfect, i beat the game with just 10 HP (never upgraded) (always BP and FP), Super Paper Mario got me a bit confused, but i enjoyed it cuz is a platformer with a bit a RPG.

Super paper mario was my first wii game and I played the hell out of it! Hours spent into trying to get EVERY SINGLE TRADING CARD AND RECIPE JUST BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT. Yeah... I also replayed it like 5 times. The giant dungeon in the aftergame was cool and playing as Bowser, Peach and Luigi was fun.

In my opinion, paper mario is the best RPG for Nintendo 64, and moreover, a great entry into the genre versus any system. While the cute, simplified look of the game and its similarly colorful mascot characters may turn off those looking for a Final Fantasy killer, it'd be a huge mistake to pass this title up for that reason alone. For underneath its 2D surface, Paper Mario is a fantastically deep, intuitively designed, and wonderfully rewarding experience complete with enhanced takes on old-school turn-based fighting mechanics and a statistic system that would satisfy any RPG fanatic.

The paper mario series is so cool to play. The game plays similarly to Super Mario RPG. The game is broken up into the field screen and the battle screen. Mario and his party move around on the field screen--an adventure-based 3D plane where you interact with items, enemies, and people in real time. Once an enemy spots Mario, it will charge him. If you touch the enemy, you'll enter the battle screen--a turn-based, menu-driven combat system.

I really like the series :3

It seems to be going on some different directions but that's fine with me, it's evolving beyond it's regular RPG mold, which has been taken over by the Mario & Luigi series, so it can get better with some changes
