I been having these weird thoughts lately...
Towns Folk
I don't know how many of you guys are aware of this, but earlier today mass shootings and explosions began in central Paris. Over sixty people were killed earlier today, and it appears that a hundred more were just killed in the Bataclan Concert Hall after a hostage situation took place. The terrorists are still wrecking havoc, so if you are anywhere near Paris please stay indoors and try to let your loved ones know you are safe.
The police opened a telephone hotline to get information about friends and loved ones;
0800-40-60-05

And there is also a Facebook page to let your loved ones know you are safe;
https://www.facebook...terror_attacks/

This is a very dangerous attack, and if you're in Paris I hope you're out of harms way. Many news sources are covering the attack as well.

My cousin and aunt went to Paris recently >.< Eh, but I think they left a long time ago because the Miami carnival is over.

I heard about this in the news earlier today.

Anyone knows what organization is behind it and what their aim is by killing people in Paris? :panda: I didn't know it was this bad ;-; I only thought around 100 people were killed in the Bataclan Concert Hall.

I heard about it a while ago. It sucks that this stuff happens to people who're simply enjoying themselves, just because there's a large number of them gathered there. I hope the ones who organized this get found out.

Just saw the news. Now, they report that there's at least over 120 people killed, over 80 people who were critically injured, and 200 that were injured, but are "safe".

7 of the 8 terrorists ended their attacks by activating the explosives they carried with them, killing them, while the 8th one got shot down by the police.

Daesh (Islamic State, if that's how it's said in English). Their aim is to bring terror in France, supposedly for François Hollande to stop the attacks on them. And actually, he got lucky, since one of the attacks was near the Stade de France (he was watching the France-Germany football match at that time).

And now, they report there was 84 people killed in the Bataclan Concert Hall, 1 near the Stade de France, 14 in the Alibert Street (odn't exactly recall the name of the street, but it was something like this), and more in the other streets.

Also, for now, since Paris is in State of Emergency, all buses/trains/planes are cancelled, just like schools and stuff are closed.

They got a lot of publicity because the attacks were heard by people watching that game. That sucks... IS needs to be taken out :/

Also, France v England is now in doubt and will most likely be cancelled/delayed.

Yup, they said that everything related to sports will be delayed for now.

If you didn't know, there was an ISIS attack in Patis during a soccer game against Germany. There were 128 people confirmed dead. I heard ISIS attacked because they considered both countries as Christian countries. And now France takes that as an act of war and might soon attack.

For the people who lost their loved ones in Paris, I send my deepest condolences from the bottom of my heart. May those people rest in peace and that they will remember you in the afterlife.

Sincerely,
Chrononome

Update from my part, since I saw the news again: They reported that there's now over 129 people dead, over 352 people injured, 89 people in a "critical" state, and worse: apparently, one of the terrorists managed to escape by pretending he was a victim, according to the news.

And Daesh (ISIS) officially affirmed that they were behind the terrorist act. Additionally, one of the terrorists was French. Apparently born in 1985, he was already known by the French justice for minor cases, and got a S-leaflet in 2010 (basically, he became suspect because of his radicalization).

To finish, not only Paris is in the State of Emergency, but the whole country now is under State of Emergency (François Hollande declared it)

I was shocked when I first heard about these attacks. I hope the offenders are caught as quickly as possible and put to justice. I really do feel sorry for the affected families and those who sadly didn't make it. Take care and stay safe, those members who live in France. No country deserves this kind of treatment. :(
