I want to pass down an Oran Berry to the child of my Magby.

I not exactly sure but I believe he is saying he wants to duplicate items by passing down in breeding? The question isn't very clear, though.

It isn't possible to "duplicate" items by breeding, but you can change a pokemon's item by going to Pokemon, select the pokemon, select item, and then select give, and then select an item and it will hold it.

Items cannot be duplicated through breeding. If you wanna duplicate items, you'll have to use the cloning glitch. Even then, it's not a 100% guarantee that it'll work.
