thanks but im confused about a few things: how do I get playcins from racing in mario kart 8 and battling in pokemon x and does a specific person decide if the post is worth playcoins or is it a machine?

You can start a "challenge" thread in the Nookling Junction forum, seeking members to race/battle for Play Coins.

It's automated. However, spam posts etc will be deleted by staff.

so do i start a thread there and then we say who won and staff gives us playcoins and also do we just add each other as friends and race or is there like say "loser gives 5 playcoins to winner or something?"

Yes and if you lose, you'll have to pay the member in Play Coins. Members have the ability to send Play Coins to other members - http://forum.3dspedia.com/threads/welcome-to-nookling-junction-home-of-play-coins.331/#post-18039
