Which next gen gaming console do you prefer between the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One?

Playstation 4, no second thought.

Xbox One may be good and all, but it's too 'living room', and entertainment based. They've been putting a bunch of dramatization on it's capabilities with regular T.V shows and stuff when it's supposed to be a gaming console. Not to mention it's $100 more to spend, when the PS4 is more powerful anyways.

Not to mention: Xbox One had a terrible start with several backfires.

Microsoft is considering last-minute spec increases. These would be hilariously weak as a comeback to the PS4, though.

I'm supporting the PlayStation 4. Microsoft basically screwed themselves with the Xbox One's announcements. At E3, they made all the announcements that players didn't like (used game policies, online check-ins) whereas Sony took advantage of that and announced that there would be no such limitations on the PS4. Even after the policies were removed on the Xbone, it left a bitter taste in most players' mouths.
Also, the features in the Xbox One (watching TV on your TV) are pointless and just ways to increase sales the way the PS2 was successful because people bought it as both a console and DVD player; Microsoft obviously tried to copy that but failed.
And Valkyria Chronicles, the best gaming series of all time, is a PlayStation-exclusive.

Best gaming series of all time? Quite a statement. Is the original or something on PS2?

I personally support the PS4 assuming the Wii U isn't present.

The way they described the Xbox One did not make it seem like it was a console worth spending like $499 on. Seemed more like just another Xbox 360 with a few extra home entertainment quirks and it seems like their focal point was aimed at not gaming, but as just a console intended for your living room (tv, movies, etc.). They want to force you to be online at all times too for the console to work. Not very convenient in my opinion. So I'd go with PS4, since they seem to have better games anyway

With all the fail crap MS has been doing, I'm sticking with the PS4 and so far Sony hasn't disappoint other than the force online pay.

MS has a weak start but you can't deny they're going out of their way to rectify this.

I think I'll start off with PS4 because I want something different (at least controller wise). I never cared for any of the PlayStation controllers and how they felt when I played games. They feel great and natural for racing games which I love to play!! The multiplayer games I want on Xbox One won't come out until 2014 (Halo 5, Titanfall)

If I had a lot of money personally I'd buy everything but I don't so I'm going to only stick with my Wii U for now.

I've had that thought of saving up a few thousand $$$ so I can buy the Wii U, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PS4 HAHA!
