Towns Folk
Hi everyone! It's been a long while since I made a contest, and this one doesn't require a 3DS, or Wii U to participate!

Anyways, every game has a plot. Not all of us like that plot, or you might imagine a change in that plot. That's what this is for!

Rules

Like any contest, this contest has some rules.

  • To participate, you need to have been a member for 1 week.
  • You need 10 messages and at least 1 like.
  • There is a small entry fee of 2 PC.
  • You are not allowed to do a Plot twist for a game rated M or higher.
  • Please do a plot twist for a game on a Nintendo Console. You're allowed to do a plot twist for a game that released on multiple consoles, as long as one of them are from a Nintendo Console.
  • This is an important rule. Have Fun!!:D
Prizes!

1st place gets 60% of the pot plus 20 PC.
2nd place gets 30% of the pot.
3rd place gets 10% of the pot.

Judging

I plan on finding 3 judges other then myself to judge the twists. In a top secret PM, we will put in our scores. Also, no requesting to be a judge, I, on my own, will find the judges.;)

Participants

There will be no max participants. Participants and judges will be listed in this Spoiler.

[

Enjoy this contest! I plan on ending this contest on March 2nd. I'll tally up the votes and reveal them on the 4th, hopefully.

Here is my plot twist its for Splatoon
When you go to get the great zapfish, the floor opens up, and you fall to the city where the octarians live. You must beat them in a turf war to get to the tallest building there, Sneak through the building, and do parkour when you get to the top to get back to the final level.

Allright, I'll add you to the list. Don't forget the 2 PC.

Why only Nintendo? To me, Nintendo is more known for gameplay, not story, except a few franchises.

here is my plot twist for fire emblem awakening. so what if robin didn't die when you choose to kill grima yourself he just went on to fire emblem fates with amnesia and fought with corrin if you tapped in his amibo.
also I have a question can we change our plot twist if we don't like it

i would honestly like to join and try my luck, but i don't completely understand the meaning of a plot twist.

1. I like having a bit of an idea on what series you're talking about, and I'm not experienced outside of Nintendo Consoles.

Sure! You're allowed to change your plot twist, but when the contest ends, you can't change it anymore.
Don't forget the 2 PC :)

Simple. A big change in plot, a surprising thing that can change a game's story completely.

Mario's running through the final castle to save princess peach, Mario kills the hammer brothers and approaches Bowser, Mario jumps over Bowser's fireballs and starts running to the axe, But as soon as Mario gets there, BAM, Bowser walks back onto the axe which destroys the bridge and Mario falls into the lava pit.

oh ok, i think i can think of something like that.

heres my plot twist: in a mario game, when you beat bowser it is revealed that peach is Bowser In Disguise, Vice Versa for Bowser, Mario was the only one that was who he seamed, And All The Toads In The Mushroom Kingdom Were Goombas and Coopas In Disguise, So You Were Basically Unknowingly Trying To Defeat Peach as mario forcefully,And Before you find this out you gotta beat Bowser by getting to his Huge Fortress with everything having a disguise so you dont know what is real or what is what.

im not entirely sure this is actually a plot twist though.

Pokémon X plot-twist
225px-XY_Lysandre.png
In Pokémon X Lysandre gets buried underneath the rubble of the ultimate weapon after firing it. After that he isn't seen anymore in the game, and it is implied he died. (How could one survive tons of rubble crashing on their heads?) But I wonder, what if, after all he isn't dead? Lysandre said he wanted to use the Ultimate Weapon to force immortality upon the people that tried to stop him, and himself, so that they together could watch the demise of the world.
"If that were possible, all wars would have ended long ago! I can only see one future! One where selfish, foolish humans think about nothing other than themselves and steal more and more from one another... It's a tragic future!"
"The original purpose of this device was to bring a Pokémon back to life. But the ancient king transformed it into this ultimate weapon... Hmm. When the Legendary Pokémon awakened, it took back much of its energy--its power--that had been sent to the ultimate weapon. There's not much power left... But there IS enough to use it once..."
"<player>, Sycamore's pupils... Let us live forever... That's right! I shall grant you eternal life! I'll give you the pain of endlessly waiting for a beautiful world to finally be built!
After all, since the player wouldn't allow him to purge the world and create an eternally beautiful world, it is their fault, in his eyes, that the world remains imperfect and broken.

Deep underground, under the rubble, Lysandre isn't dead. The beam fired from the Ultimate Weapon, the very explosion he fired that made the roof collapse on his head, did make him, in fact, immortal. Just like AZ he would be doomed to roam the land, forever regretting using the weapon. But he can't. He is stuck in the ruined guts of what used to be the weapon. As time passes, he builds up strength and digs his way out on sheer determination. He can't die from food shortage or water shortage but nonetheless the months spend in the dark have taken their toll. Upon reaching the surface he collapses. When Lysandre wakes he looks up to the face of a surprisingly elderly distraught professor Sycamore. How long has he been underground? They speak of the past and their broken trust. Realising he has become immortal Lysandre sets out to find the player, who has mysteriously disappeared after becoming champion. All beauty in the world is still fleeting and feeble, just as he expected. As a little flower of hope, a fleur de Lys of courage, Lysandre discovers the people of team Flare have set out to make the world more beautiful in other ways. The player, on the other hand, has set out to find Yveltal as to die at this Pokémons power, saddening Xerneas. Lysandre is found by Xerneas and together they track down the player. They find him/her already facing Yveltal. Xerneas realises there is only one way to end this. Xerneas and Yveltal use their powers in synchrony and perish. The player and Lysandre finally become mortal again, while the beauty of the world flowers. Ironically, the sacrifice of the Pokémon made them mortal again and though all beauty in the world is permanent now, they must fade and can never see it's full glory.

...Well, that turned out longer than expected. :p Anyway, I always loved the backstory of Pokémon X and couldn't help but wonder whether the beam had actually worked.

If that was the plot I'd buy two copies, one to play and one to cherish. it would be epic. :D ...but not very kid-friendly so probably not going to happen.
