Mac is Back!
Towns Folk
After close to two weeks I have finally finished grading all the poems that were entered in my poetry contest!
It was really difficult for me to choose some of these since there was so many great poems! After some deciding these are the top 3 poems in my opinion:

Now to those of you who didn't win there is still a chance for you to win a Favorite prize. "Wait a minute! what do you mean favorite prize?" Well you see picking out the best in each category was difficult so I decided to make things easier and pick my favorites. Also a little side note I have changed the best award prizes from 10 pc to 15 pc and if you won a 1st,2nd, or 3rd prize and a best prize you can pick your favorite in the category you won in and give your favorite prize to that person. (If you are confused send me a conversation)
All winners will be paid in 24 hours and you'll find out why 24 hours from now!
Also since I can only tag 6 people at a time I will be posting the best winners in a comment below

Waves that crashed against the starboard side
The creatures of the wood that bit and clawed at us
The treasures hidden deep in Mountain-sides.
Would be meaningless to me without your fuss.
Missing you was not what I expected to do
I simply thought when I found my Princess
Separate ways would go me and you
But now I sit in loneliness
Alone I am without either of you
She so far and hidden from view
You so far traveling the ocean blue
And me sitting not knowing what to do
Voices speak to me in comfort
But their words do not heal
Gems, gold, and treasure I sort
But it never feels real
Man of the Sea
You hide from me
You think it makes you great
To me it aggravates
Man of the Sea
Please come back to me
Treasures of gold and blue
Each and all, if with me, for you

The wind rushes past me
As I intrepidly charge into
The dense field of monsters
Each carrying death in their hands
Their true natures revealed
Watching them mutilate one after another
Their malicious eyes
Without a care in the world
Make the voices
Disappear.
It seems as if I was in another world
Trading a life for another
Splatters of crimson cover the floor
They cannot see peace
Only war
Bloodthristy it lunges at me
Claws outreached
Glinting eyes
I kill it
With one slash of my sword
I watch myself
Turn into them
Murder is murder
No excuse can be made
The face of mercy ceases to exist
In the chaotic world of hell

As I intrepidly charge into

@pk-espurr! This poem truly stood out to me with its unique interpretation of a goomba's point of view. This poem is called A Goomba's Last Words:
I saw her once
The town called her hero
She wasn’t calm and collected
Her temper was a flaw
Her heels were her weapon
9 inches of pure terror
I saw her once
Super Maria was her name
She wasn’t a gentle savior
As she impaled my dear friend with her heel
I watched how savage her actions were
Repeatedly stabbing the dead
I saw her once
Her stilettos caked with blood
She wasn’t without fear
I had seen the way she kills
I could spread the word to others
I could save the lives of my friends
I saw her once
Her eyes burned in my soul
She was quite powerful
She dashed at me with great speed
Eyes filled with wondrous glee
It was the last sight I saw
I saw her once

I was just trying to explain to pk-espurr why she wouldn't get that award even though she got first over all yours was extremely good video game wise and was quite unique. Sorry if I hurt your feelings
