Hello There!
I can see that you are reading my post 'Pokèmon Kart'
I have an idea for a game called Pokèmon Kart. It is just like Mario kart but with Pokemon. You could have Pokemon trainers and Legends cheering you on like Shy Guys and Yoshis. There could be characters like Ash, Misty, Iris , Prof. Juniper , Pikachu , Lucario and Other Pokemon!.Pokemon_Kart_Cover.pngPokemon_Kart_Cover.png

Well, not that I intend to offend you, but I personally think that Pokemon Kart isn't exactly the greatest idea. And even then, it'll probably "come to life" in the form of Mario Kart DLC. You know, stuff like the Pokeball cup. I think you and I (and other people who join us, duh) should exchange ideas about what this DLC pack could contain, specifically the characters, karts and circuits;
I think that one of the new cups would be the Kanto Circuit, obviously based off of the Kanto region from Pokemon Red / Blue and its remakes. The coins would be replaced with Pokeuros (or whatever the money in Pokemon is called) and the circuit itself would be a long section based course like Wuhu Circuit with some sort of shortcut in the Lavender Town Pokemon Tower.
 
I think it sound like a good idea. When Mario cam out in the 80s im sure people weren't thinking lets make a racing game out of this. But they did and now its better than they could have imagined. It would be fun to play through different levels and while racing theirs like Pokemon moves coming out of someones car to attack you. And you can attack back. They could have it go through the different generations of the games and each race is on a different Pokemon island from a different game. The only problem is that it might seem like a nock off of Mario Cart. Also it might be to cheesy. But i would buy the game.

They could also make it ethic a D.L.C. to Mario Kart our just a regular update to the game. It would double the fun of the game too. So ya it would be cool to race Pokemons around in a car against other Pokemon. :panda: :) :thumbsup: :D :cool: :panda:. Hope more people like this idea and you get some more positive feedback because I like it.
 
I don't think making a game out of this is a good idea. Spending the afterlife being forced to fight for a 10-year old kid is bad enough, now we have to race in a very blatant Mario Kart ripoff? Please. It's like when that Disney Art Academy game came out. When you cash cow, people notice. Did you not see the reactions to the Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows, Mockingjay, The Hobbit, and other movies they split into multiple parts?
 
Exactly. This Pokemon Kart idea would be better off as Mario Kart 8 DLC.
 
It would generally be the same as Mario Kart 8 then. If it would be DLC for MK8 then it should be just one character or stage or etc. because in my opinion, it shouldn't really alter how MK8 is already. (Soon to be SSB Kart lol).

There was a DS game called Pokemon Dash that is the closest I can think of where Pokemon had some racing element in its own game. :p

Um, this isn't a very good idea tbh :unsure:

When I think of go-kart racing, I don't think about animals being the ones racing on them. Mario characters are much more iconic. Characters like Ash and Misty wouldn't fit IMO.

At best, a Pokemon-themed stage would be good as DLC, but that's it.
