Yesterday, The Pokemon Company released the opening video for Pokémon X And Pokémon Y, showing off trainer selection. You'll meet the new Pokémon professor, pick your gender, and customize your character.

Female :


Which gender are you going to pick? :eek:
 
With so many spoilers it was going to happen :p

Well, you haven't so many option but it's cool!
 
It looks really cool, I like how Pokemon X and Y is changing the little things that can make such a big difference, I like the customization choice. Well done so far Nintendo, I like it !!
 
I'm going to pick the same gender that I belong to! :D I'm not sexist mind you. This game has to be the first game I'm so much hyped about!! I wasn't even that hyped for Fifa 14.

How dare you ask me that? :p Haven't you seen me post around stuff telling everyone and showing my love for the one and only, Charizard? I'll pick Bulbasaur Squirtle CHARMANDER!
 
I'll choose male gender and my starter Pokemon will be Froakie or Chespin because I'm going to get the Mega Charizard X so I don't need more Fire/Dragon. :p

Yeah! you said it, I'm leaning towards Froakie as well, we'll also get an Event Torchic (I've heard) so that'll be two great starters! Froakie will do. :D

Oh yeah, I had forgotten the Event Torchic. I hope I like the evolution of Froakie or Chespin too because I don't want to see the other Pokemon that before I played the game. :p

I'm definitely choosing my gender and put my name in, kind of a tradition with me and Pokemon games. Now the only problem is that I want both Mega Blaziken and Mega X Charizard, but do I really want 2 fire starters?

I'm pretty tempted to just to roll with charmander, fennekin and torchic, possibly catch a few other fire types and then just pray there aren't many water, ground and rock battles lol.

An Event Torchic that sounds awesome, I will choose Froakie because of his second evolution, its looks really epic and I believe that from being a water type (first evoultion) it changes to a Dark and Water type and that's a great combination.
