Pokemon Anime Pikachu(Opinion)

WARNING THIS IS COMPLETELY OPINION

There's a game, there's an anime, there's ANOTHER game(TCG)
And yet, they don't share much in common.
The guinea pig, or shall I say, Rattata, in this thread is Ash's Pikachu!
It's adorable, it's dangerous, it's powerful, who could ask for a better Pokemon?
Me.
The anime makes it seem like a legendary, and it really does, considering it has stopped multiple legendary Pokemon from destroying the entire universe.( I mean seriously?)
For example:
Killed Mewtwo (I think)
Stopped Arceus,
Etc.

Well in my opinion ,pickachu is kind of useless pokemon in both games and animation but may be cosplay pickachu can help out sometimes and this pokemon might not be so useful in games or another thing but it is cute

I think most feel mixed about him is because he never evolved I heard that most don't like him because he gets all the attention. But that's not fair to Pikachu because Mario and Link get just as much attention.

But hey I love Pikachu no matter what.

It was originally going to be a Clefairy though @-@. But it's still pretty cool especially the noticeable slimming down over the years XD. Plus it was cool except I was kinda sad when Ash made it forget Volt Tackle... I mean it shouldn't have been able to learn it in the first place but still Volt Tackle made it really cool.

Well in the anime , Ash's pikachu is really somewhat strong in many ways in what all he has done in the series , but sompared to the game , it's really hard to see Pikachu isn't the strongest character in the game so I guess that Ash's Pikachu must be a special Pikachu in my opinion

Pikachu is useless but is sort of mascot for the game and is useless, like Plusle, Minun, Pashurichu, etc. (But Pashurichu has won a tournment but whatever xD) It has Light Ball but still extremely useless and Raichu is better even though at Ash's first gym, Pikachu wins with speed :/

Pikachu may be bad in the games. They could make it good in the game you are planning. Not a bad idea. Best would be a remake of pokemon Yellow, but this idea is cool too pikachu on our shoulder in that game

The reason he's so great in the movies/anime, I think is because of the bond he and Ash share, and he really gets alot of training. I mean, a lvl 90 Pikachu can still beat a lvl 70 Arceus, so it'd make sense, I guess. As for him being a icon for the series, it all makes sense. He's as much an icon for the series as the pokéball or the logo, if not more. I don't really mind either, although it is quite bothersome at times. Especially in-game, like on the Pokéradar in ORAS, why is there a Pikachu there? It makes no sense!

Ash's Pikachu is adorable, but Clefairy would have been better. In the game Clefairy is 10 times stronger than Pikachu would ever be. I really like Ash's Pikachu it's nice they kept a Pikachu as a main Pokémon in the whole anime. In the manga Pikachu also plays an important part.

In my opinion, Pikachu is extremely under powered and over rated in the anime, besides that, it sometimes gets annoying, lets be honest here, any pokemon with a high pitched voiced and a massive smile on it's face is annoying.

Pikachu is pretty much useless in the Pokemon games.But the thing that doesn't make sense is how is it so strong in the anime? I mean,It stopped multiple legendaries.It's also a very important Pokemon in the manga.Gamefreak needs to start making sense.If Pikachu is that strong that why isn't it a legendary?

It has defeated a handful of Legendary Pokemon, but it somehow manages to drop in level when Ash goes to a new region. Seriously, it's a bug up my butt.
