We all know that Double Battles can be tough. But if you use the right combinations winning could be as easy as 123.

Here are some:

Skill Swap Combo

If you have ever used Slaking you would know about its high Attack stat. But its ability, Truant, makes it unable to attack on consecutive turns. This is where Skill Swap comes in. You could switch abilities with your partner, then switch with the opponent to hold them back. Also works good with Regigigas and his Slow Start ability.

Protect + Earthquake

In a double Earthquake hits all other Pokemon. Use Protect to avoid taking damage. Also useful when using Discharge.

Or you could have a Pokemon that can use the Earthqauge/Discharge/Surf/etc to it's advantage. You don't always have to carry Protect. Wide Guard is a good thing to have in Double Battles. "Wide Guard protects against specific moves, specifically moves which have more than one target such as Surf & Earthquake. In addition to protecting the user, it protects all of the user's allies in battle for that turn. This effect doesn't just correspond to moves used by the opponent, but it also protects allies from damage from moves by other allies which would inadvertantly damage them, such as Surf which hits all neighbouring Pokémon." It's a very useful move and a lot of bulky Pokemon can get it. Like Swampert, Regigigas, Alomomola, and more! ^_^ Take it into consideration when making a double battle team. :3

Only thing about if the Pokemon get's hit with a move that only it's one Pokemon; it still hits even with the Wide Guard. So beware of that! x3
