PkMn Go Pokemon Go Easter Egg?

I believe my Dad found an Easter egg in Pokemon Go today, but I'd like to see if it actually works, or is just dumb luck.

He managed to find an 78 CP Abra and a 148 CP Pollywag and both were caught with only one ball each. He said that he never had a Pokemon break free after he started to tap the screen after the Pokemon entered the Pokeball until they were caught. This may be a reference to the tap/hold A/B/AB when catching a Pokemon to increase the odds of catching it (It doesn't work) but I was wondering if you guys could try it out and see if it works and we found an Easter Egg no one else had, or just sheer luck.

It's most definitely false. Pokemon as weak as them are unlikely to break free anyway.

If anything it makes them harder to catch. Green circle Pidgy excaped twice while using this method.

The higher the level the player is, the harder it is to catch Pokemon, I believe.

No, that is also untrue. You just encounter stronger Pokemom at higher levels, which are harder to catch. A pokemon with 30CP is as easy to catch at level 20 as it is at level 1.
