I am sure you all know that Pokemon are all animals unless your A mindless noob. That was not meant to be taking seriously.

So what if Pokemon had more things in common then you think... subpence moment ..
What if we also can restore fossils, and bring dinosaurs back to life.. subpence.
After all the technology on our planet is improving every day.
Maybe we two can train a animal and make it do what we say.
Animals have many ability's just like Pokemon most no scratch which most Pokemon learn first, then when certain animals get older they learn how to do more things like swim and fly and defend there self, which is pretty much Age = levels.
So just think of what i have just said, maybe its our furture.
Plz dont try this at home, trying to tame a bear that is!

So a 100 year old man is stronger than a 30 year old man... And people can train dogs but not wolves because they are untamable...

Well if games weren't based on real life they would be very entertaining or at least relatable. If you had no basis for a game or a genre you basically either have to come up with it on your own or just give up out of boredom or defeat because odds are if you don't find your own games or ideas enjoyable no one else will. Pokemon was once considered to be anti-religious because it was based off the ideas of real life like the human idea of catching animals like bugs or untamed animals like say dragons or bears or creatures similar to humans or science (like the science club in the Pokemon TCG was based off Poison and Psychic types and used as specimens). In that respect that is very realistic but we also have to keep in mind the time frame of the game. In which case the games give a semi-modern or semi-future tone in terms of technological advances and the fact that our player doesn't need to sleep if he doesn't want to or doesn't need to go to the bathroom because that would be inappropriate for a children's game (but it is sort of mentioned in the Mother/Earthbound series which is based on Pokemon). If anything Earthbound is more realistic but Pokemon is very similar with real time, technological advances, natures that alter stats, and the ability to make oneself stronger through special food, experience, and various battles which was done way beforehand in the development/hobby stage of computers when they came up with the idea of turning numbers into a game and wandering through areas like in real life with your eyes. So pretty much your saying Pokemon exists in real life as a simulator.

Bidoof is your son... Nourish him well

If any pokemon existed today, we would be all over it. Think of an animal that can recognize any language and follow that command to potentially harm another creature or even human! We would spend so much time analyzing it, it'd be nothing like the games, and it would most probably suck for the poor pokemon having to go through whatever tests we throw at it. Long story short, it's good for us and them that pokemon don't exist
