Pokemon pet? :3

Pokemon...whether they be fierce, nice, have thirst for destruction, or have the heart to stop evil, you still love them, yes? Although I don't have a Pokemon game I play competitively, I still like seeing them. Some just make your heart melt, am I right? So adorbs! :3 Pretty much all the newly hatched ones make you smile and go: Awwwww.. , lol. Like seeing newborn puppies, or kittens, yeah? We love our pets irl and would pretty much maul anything that tries to hurt them. (Huh? You don't??? . ... Guess that's just me.. ). But wait... What if your pet WAS a Pokemon?? Then it could fend for itself, and you wouldn't worry about coyotes trying to eat it. ;-; Er, moving on.. . What I'm trying to ask is: If you could keep one Pokemon as a pet, which would you choose, and why?

Magikarp because I love them

I don't think I would be able to keep just one, but going based off of my dog and his personality I would say I would have a Houndour/Houndoom (a short Houndoom because he's a runt).

Not only are Houndours/Houndooms fire types who doesn't like their design? They look powerful and fierce and often seen as evil Pokémon the bad guys have them but they can be big softies (like pit bulls, Rottweilers, Boxers).

Lol, I knew people wouldn't able to keep just one. Namely me. But yeah, they do sound a lot like pit-bulls! I should know, I have one! For me, I would keep one of the Eeveelutons, Flareon, or Umbreon being my first and second choices. Buuuut.... If I could, I'd keep all of them!

Why must Pokémon make so many great monsters!? Umbreon and Flareon are great choices! I just love all the Eeveelutions I know I would have to get a Jolteon at some point and Pikachu.

Oh my glob, more and more Pokémon keep jumping out in my head and I just want to list them all off.

Nintendo please make a game like Nintendogs but with Pokémon!

These Pokemons keep their simplicity and are really cute too :3 I know there are more but I can't name them rn since it's hard to recall x3

@Jeff The Killer : Ikr?? I'd actually buy that if I could care for my own Eeveelution pets. :3 That'd be such a great idea! I can just imagine getting up early to take care of one of my Eevees and evolve them into their super awesome evolution.

@Bearidan :Yeeeah, Espurr's kinda... e.e But hey, some people find it to be a pretty cute Pokemon. So to each his own. But year, sometimes simplicity is pretty good, y'know? Lol, I can also imagine someone taking care of a Zapdos, or a Groudon, or a Regigigas. Talk about HUGE!

You what would suck but be cool though, if someone had a Yveltal for a pet. It's cool because it's Yveltal and its massive, but it sucks because it will take everyone with it when it dies (according to the dex)

And having Espurr as a pet...imagine walking to the kitchen in the middle of the night to get a snack and you just see it's eyes glowing in the dark. Or those moments when your pet sneaks up on you.

If I had a Espurr I'd name it Jeff...because of the eyes.

Reason it's simple: because it's just so adorable and squishy and fluffy and cuddly and I want to pet it all the time and, errrr my gaaaaawd *-* When I saw it the first I was like I HAVE TO HAVE IT! One day, when I buy Pokemon Y and when I catch a Goomy I will pet it AAAALL THE TIIIIMEEEE on Pokemon Amie hehehe

Jeff has the right idea about Houndoom as a great dog-like Pokémon pet. Plus, doesn't their Pokédex entry state that they leave permanent burns on people and Pokémon with their fire? It really teaches those who want to mess with you a punishing lesson. And what about an Absol. They do tell the future. That could give you an advantage when it comes to things like deciding what you want to put your future into and seeing if it works out for you in the end.

In the Pokemon world, civilization may not be without those Pokemons. They are much more versatile and convenient to have without any need for competition. Would you like to live in a world that has Machokes help you move your furniture, constructions provided by a few Gurdurrs, a Wigglytuff caretaker, or power plants that use Electrorbs? Yes, there will be Pokemons as beast of burden, transportation, and even as companions. It make sense for Pokemons to be pets.

As for pet Pokemons, any of them I considered cute is something I want. You know how much I love Mew. That isn't the only one, though it's the cutest for me. There is Glaceon, Syleon, Lopunny (for looking like my favorite character), Gothitelle, Blaziven, Shaymin, Meloetta, Kirlia, and Gardevoir. Maybe there's more, but that's my list so far.

Still . . . I feel uneasy to have a human-like Pokemon for a pet.

Anywho I think a Riolu could be a good pet! You could hike with it since it's strong and it's still cute and kinda fluffyish!

And it could protect you, like a guard dog :3

If you're going for straight up cute than Eevee's the way to go though! ^^

I'd like to have Victini as my pet, because it's so adorable and cute! We can explore together, and protecting each other when going through many things, and most important of all, I could have great time together with Victini because it has cheerful personality to begin with, that brings good smiles every time I see it.

I'd like to have a Shinx has a pet, because it's adorable and would protect me no matter what! it would shock anyone who wishes to harm me for whatever reason (although I'm very nice!). I would've said Pikachu, but honestly, it's way too common/popular to choose it. Shinx is small, but would pack a punch when needed, and solve any electrical problems I happen to run into. xD

Well I can't tell you for certain which Pokémon I would want. The reason being is it is a toss up between two pokemon. The first one is definetly a Salamance because dragon. The other one would def be a Absol not only for the future telling thing, but more so because they can predict natural disasters and I think that it would be awesome for me and Absol to run around the world and help people avoid natural disasters and be safe.

Well, I wasn't gonna go into those terms... Jesus. If one were to keep a human-like Pokemon as a pet, then you could have it sleep in another room, yeah? Problem solved. But I was talking more so like the ones that are dogs, cats, mice, etc, y'know? But no, the other animals would be here, you'd just be the only one with a Pokemon pet. That'd make it moar special. ^-^

Eevee is just plain cute, who wouldn't love it like laying down on your lap? Id die of cuteness.
