During the events of the Mega Garchomp event, there was the Pokémon Safari. In it, you could catch a Garchomp which you could get the Mega Stone for. But there was another Pokémon that Pokémon made threads for on GameFAQs. The Pokémon was a Phione and apparently, it has a 1% encounter rate. Beside the sheer impossible encounter rate, what else is it about the Pokémon that makes it so important?

WHAT!!?
That's how you get garchomp?
So many times i relooked all the stages got s real in all but a few(in case he was an expert pokemon) and he was in the SAFARI? Now I've a got a garchompite with no garchomp. Man I should have searched that up.
Oh yeah regarding the phione...
WHAT!!?
There was a legendary in the SAFARI?
That's crazy. At least make it another special stage by itself.
But... It would be important because with a legendary and probably had some good ability and staying power and, even better, it would have helped sooo much against that mega garchomp. It was a great idea having a mega garchomp competition who had a bunch of phiones on the board and a phione hidden in the dumb safari stage. So I'ts extremely important for that reason.

Sorry accidentally posted it 3 times...
Deleted the rest

But Phione is a pre-evolution. It would've been weaker.

Its stregnth isn't what would have helped so much. In the mega grachomp stage, garchomp only sends phione down in the middle 2 rows. Therefor if phione was one of your support pokemon, the garchomp would be adding to your support giving you more combo options and making it much easier to get a better score. the only pokemon that would be if little worth to you would be gible.

The only thing I needed in the battle was Mega Glalie, Kyogre, Sceptile, Articuno, and every power-up available. Besides, Phione and Gible would've been weak and I want all the man-power I can get.

I didn't say you needed it. I was able to do it as well but i was just saying it would have been easier. Besides, most of the top scorers had a phione as support. Strength matters but so do combos and available moves which is why the phione would help.
