Moon/Sun Pokemon Sun mascot = Light type?

I saw the Pokemon Sun mascot, and this came in my mind:

LIGHT TYPE CONFIRMED.

Not to mention the color scheme, and how the games are called SUN and MOON. If the Moon legendary is a Dark Pokemon, it makes sense to complement it.

The game looks a lot like X/Y and ORAS graphics, maybe they DO stay in the same generation (6) and they won't introduce new types, but then again new pokes, new gen... (i might skip, unless it's super effective on those ridiculous fairy skrub, wannabe type)

I speculate that Pokemon Sun's legendary is probably gonna be a Fire type (obviously, I think xD) with some other type that could possibly be something like Normal, Steel, Ground... Fairy? (well maybe not Fairy ). But I'm just throwing some wild guess over there.

I love how it looks! It's design is really cool in my opinion (not saying Moons isn't cool but Sun won me over)

This is a very interesting concept, but I highly doubt that they would add a new type for Pokemon Sun and Moon.
Of course, I could always be wrong. They did add a new type for Pokemon X and Y: The Fairy Type.
I guess we'll never really know until the game comes out!
