Moon/Sun Pokemon Sun/Moon To Feature Multiple Islands

Amazon revealed that the games Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will feature multiple Islands,

"Embark on a new adventure as a Pokemon Trainer and catch, battle, and trade all-new Pokemon on the tropical islands of a new Region and become a Pokemon Champion!"

I'm guessing we'll be able to catch certain legengary Pokemon by visiting these Islands but that's just what I think >.<

Then again it could just be areas of land surrounded by water like how they did it in Pokemon. You can't just surf and find trainers in the water to have a good experience tbh, therefore we might see stuff like how they did things in Emerald at the bottom-right corner of the map.

I think the different island could have different gyms. So you have to travel between island to get to other gyms. This would work great with the free flying mechanic from oras. But there could be more that 10 island and they could each have somthing special. IDK, but I did think that there were going to be multiple island before this, since it is Hawaii.

Wouldn't that basically be like Hoenn's region? I mean granted it's not an archipelago but it's the one region that comes to mind with the most islands.

Either way this is interesting news.
