I managed to unlock altar of ice depths in this game not so long ago, and as some might expect of me i got right to completing it and fought black kyurem at the end of it. Now, my reason for writing this is because i did defeat the black kyurem and the game said something like 'kyurem can now change forms' so i thought that was it for getting both formes, but messed around with farming for fun at peliper island and he would not change from white kyurem even going in and out to different dungeons. I heard some mentions/ buzz about fighting white kyurem at the end getting you both of them but as described above i found black kyurem instead (assuming its a random boss between the two). I tried using google but couldn't find much other than the white kyurem encounter, which brings me to my question: do i go back to altar of ice depths later and fight the other one later on ? Im guessing no but this was a weird event to me so thats why im posting it aside from needing more info before i confirm anything.

It looks like Kyurem cycles through his forms with each adventure you take. I could be wrong though. Let me go get my copy of the game and see for myself...

Yes i also heard that, but did you fight black kyurem like i did after beating zekrom an reshiram ? I haven't seen a lot about that. Wonder if im actually experiencing some kinda soft lock since he wont change from white kyurem >.<
 
I fought Zekrom and Reshiram (made easy with Chandelure), and battle Kyurem. I fought Black Kyurem, but I honestly can't remember if I myself have experienced the Black Kyurem change. I'm almost done with my homework, when I'm finished I'll grab my game and see if I can do it.
 
Oh gee, I just tried it, and I can't change forms at all. I'm stuck as a normal Kyurem.

I heard maybe it changes form every day. If that's true, I guess I got the day where it's neutral.

Huh... Strange. I didn't think the 3ds clock had any connection to this game ... Maybe he's just soft locked in said forme on peliper island until you finish a place/ mission in main save ?
