Pokemon that made you think twice?

Has there been a Pokemon that made you think twice about using/not using it during a playthrough or online battle? One that you were/weren't going to use but decided otherwise?

When I first got Pokemon Y I had decided on using Delphox, Meowstic, Aegislash, Avalugg, Blastoise as my main team with a slot open for an undecided member. When I beat Korrina for the Mega Ring and she gave me a Lucario, I decided I'd keep it around for a while but wasn't gonna really use it. But when I fought against Serena in Courmarine City, Lucario one-shotted her entire team (granted two had type disadvantages), so I thought "Why not?" and decided to use it. That beast served me well.

This has happened many times in Pokemon X. I am deciding my party. There are many pokemon I want to choose from. I keep rearranging my team and now I think my choice has been almost finalised

Ya I had so many team switch ins in x y I saw a nostalgic pokemong or saw an awesome new one and had to have it on my team,that lucario was a blast from the past for me

This happens to me all the time. Just when I think I've finalized my team, I question myself -- "is this really who I want to battle with?" Then I'll go back and forth; EV training pokemon I think I'll battle with but never end up taking out of my PC afterwards, scrambling to raise pokemon I neglected because I think they'd be perfect on my team, and hiring and firing the same ones multiple times in a day.

There are so many great pokemon to choose from, and because so many have such great potential, it really is difficult to make the "perfect team". I guess it's all relative to who's playing and what sort of a team they want.

Well I change my pokemon like when I first played pokemon y I use to have a delphox and greninja and when I played y again I kind of changed the party like I took out greninja and put in gyarados and delphox I think I put in mewtwo but after getting my own pokemon x game my party is alright and good enough to me even though I took out gyarados.

I usually want to use all the cool, beautiful pokemon, but if we go that way we can never discover the full potential of it, basically when you think of pokemon , you think of a nature, ability, and use what seems right to you , those are especially the standart sets, so its kinda like pokemon choose you not them, when you need to create a powerful team and you have a ideia, you usually choose what is best for your team not what you want to be in your team, but if in the end you like those pokemon that somehow chosed you, you have all the rights to be happy cause that is a really good thing, and remenber always try to improve no matter what.
