Spin Off Pokemon theory Genesect p1

Hello um please comment on what you think of this theory I won't get mad or anything. I would really appreciate it.

Now we all know Genesect is the mysterious bug/ steel pokemon modified by team plasma but I actually have to disagree with the pokedex on this one. Genesect isn't just one genetically modified bug he is more than one so let's begin.

Kabutops is not one
So first Kabutops is available in Unova and it and Genesect' s pokedex says he has been around for over 300 million years. So he must be Genesect wrong!

Despite the fact that they might have lived around the same time they are in fact two different pokemon. For one , the pokedex only states he was around 300 million years ago, he wasn't modified 300 million years ago.

There is also the possibility that he was revived at the museum. Since when team plasma raided that place you were the one that defended it. So thank you reader for proving my point.

My final point is Kabutops would have been extinct. You have to look at the games. To help me I'm going to use Red as a reference tool to tell it.

So pokemon fire red and leaf green and ruby, sapphire, and emerald all are happening around the same time.

While three years later heartgold, soulsilver, and platinum happened

then black and white.

So before firered and leaf green Kabutops was already extinct about 4 years before gen 5 games.

So with that being said there was an unknown pokemon walking among us or was he with us. Find out it part 2. But it's just a theory a game theory.

Yeah but like I said before you defend the place and while kabutops could be a likely candidate there is literally a pokemon that fits the job better than it.
