Hey guys GamerGoldFish here with my first Pokemon X and Y helpful hint! This hint is how to check your Pokemon's IV's. To check your Pokemon's IV's, first you must beat the game and gain access to Kiloude City. Once you are able to go to Kiloude city, go to the Pokemon Center. After that, talk to the mysterious man in the upper right hand corner of the Pokemon center. Then, while talking to him, choose the Pokemon you want to check.
If the mysterious man says a certain stat of the chosen Pokemon "Can't be beat", then the Pokemon has 1 perfect IV in that certain area.
(EX: If the man says your Pokemon's HP stat can't be beat, then it's HP is 1 perfect IV.)
(Your Pokemon can have a maximum of 6 IV's, which is a very rare acccurence, but most people just have a "Perfect 5 IV Pokemon", because of the difficulty of getting 6 IV's.)
There you have it guys have it! Thanks for reading and if you have any questions don't hesitate to comment down below, and I will get to you ASAP!

You can also have a perfect 6 IV Pokemon. Actually, that's what Perfect IV Pokemon really means. Perfect = 6 (31) IV Pokemon. 5 IV Pokemon are only considered perfect because sometimes the not-perfect IV doesn't have an effect on the Pokemon's stats. Like Sp.Atk on a Charizard X doesn't really need to be perfect.
