So I got Pokemon X, thanks to you @Marc :giggle .And I haven't played my Zelda Link Between Worlds since then. I will be reviewing Pokemon X, so keep reading
This is the first Pokemon game I'v played in 4 months, and the last one I played and enjoyed was Pokemon Emerald on the GBA.
This game absolutely shocked me in terms of graphics, battle style, setting, characters and the battles. The first thing i noticed was how detailed all of the models were in game. they were very well made and resembled those in the animated series. The music was absolutely amazing, specially when you are in professor Sycamore's lab and other special places. When I first entered Lumiose City, I was astounded how much the graphics, size of cities and the amount of shops and places to go had increased substantially. I actually got lost when trying to find the Cafe le Sol so I had to look up the location on the internet
The people had great movements, they moved their hands and showed gestures, and the battle animations were so much better. Not to mention that almost all of the Pokemon from previous gen Pokemon games and also new Pokemon are available in game, adding to the length of the game and also the fun factor.
This game makes excellent use of multiplayer. The length of the game is also a very good reason to buy it. For example: When you see the credits roll after the Elite 4, you might be thinking "Oh no, the game is finished. That's all, it's back in the box." NO, do not put it back in the box! Press the wireless icon on game and as long as you are in range of a WiFi connection, you are never alone. There are thousands of people playing this game, and after a few minutes, someone will almost surely challenge you to a battle. This is a lot of fun,. and contributes even more to the length as you have to catch good Pokemon, and use a proper strategy to defeat other trainers. Also, IV breeding will help a lot, although time consuming, it is worth the wait.
You could catch all the pokemon, fill out the Pokedex completely, IV breed Pokemon, blabla. The fun in this game is almost endless. You will almost have more than a month of play time if you battle competitively.
All in all, a really fun game. So here are the scores:
graphics: 9/10
Sound; 10/10
Visuals: 10/10
Presentation: 10/10
Fun factor: 10/10
replay value: Infinite/10 (Multiplayer battles. IV breeding etc.)
Quality: 10/10
Overall: 9.99/10
