Pokemon you always forget

There's a lot of pokemon, and sometimes you forget that that pokemon even existed. Did this ever happen to you? For me, It was Finneon, Luminion, and Maractus.

Recently I found on Facebook a test to name as much gen 1 pokemon as you can within 5 minutes or so (maybe less). I named almost everything but I would always forget about Sandshrew, Sandslash, Ekans, Arbok, Koffing and Weezing >.>

I always forget Qwilfish, Finneon and Lumineon. Before I knew it existed, someone had LF: Lumineon as their PSS message, and I thought that they were talking about some sort of new Eeveelution! Oops.

pokemon i always forget is bellsprout ...... i dont know why but it never comes in my mind whenever i play any pokemon game ....i know that bellsprout is pretty strong if u know how to use it but i always forget

At least it got to star in a movie lol. Idk I think it might be remembered due to how funky it is. Having 26 different versions and all.

I don't forget any Pokemon if it's older, if a new gen will come out I can forget a Pokemon on the first days.

Oh wow, i understand this topic much hehe ^~° ive forgotten so many pokemon so many times it would be impossible for me to name all of it kek. If there is one though its probably one like of the mons in first 3 gens (too much to count here, sorry guys XP), me being a regular pokemon player its natural id forget the much early gens like that, especially with the seeming infinite annual releases of the games an new gens always coming too. Its an easy thing to do when youve lived long enough and played some of the more recent gens.

I find it fascinating that this is something that is so easy to do, yet many of us dont even realize we do it most of the time! We only realize this when we stop and think and mysteriously become aware of it, often when the issue is least expected! This is probably the biggest barrier i had trying to finish my xy dex: id forgotten all those older gens pokemon. Its just amazing how these things happen and you don't realize it until someone points it out or you suddenly awaken to it....

While I don't actually ever forget Pokemon, I may sometimes forget Patrat and Blitzle for a bit, but that's only because they are just useless and part of gen 5, which I didn't care a lot about...

More than forgetting Pokemon, I just forget things like their order in the Pokedex and how some things with unique evolution methods evolve or to what exactly (eg: Tyrogue when atk>def or def>atk)!

For some reason, I always forget about Snubbull and Granbull and thy're two of my favorite gen 2 Pokemon lol.

I guess it's hard to keep up with the current 721 Pokemon with more to come!
Some other Pokemon I tend to forget include Barboach, Chimecho, Cherubi, Patrat, Crustle, Elgyem, Beheeyem, and Rufflet.
How am I supposed to catch 'em all if I can't even remember 'em all? >.<

Well i can't deny that possibility. I too believe the reason so many of us forget that whatever random pokemons exists is because of the perpetually expanding dex that goes on the way it does (if that made sense). When i first finished gen 6 dex i forgot butterfree an beedrill existed (along with i dont know how much others kek). An here's something you will probably laugh at whoever reading this: i forgot mewtwo an rhypherior (or whatever its called, its the evo of i think it rhydon or rhyhorn i forget which one sorry) existed an i love those guys!

Its just so funny though.... We get so much exited about all the news pokemons coming out we forget our classic an old favorites! So strange how that happens like that, right? Hehehe ^~^

That's what you get when a company doesn't know when it's time to end a series and just drags it on! About 600 or so well thought-out Pokemon would have been a LOT better than 721 plus an extra generation of who knows how many! It's about time to stop this, let gen 7 be the last generation of Pokemon and from there on move to something else! If we hit 850 Pokemon, it'll really be bad, mostly because it'll be both a pain to remember them and to catch them all!:/
