I had pokerus on a pokemon but i did not know that now it says a ton of my pokemon have it. is it bad? and does that mean that they will not battle right because of a virus? and is there a cure?

Pokérus is positive. It allows EV training way faster. Also, note that Pokérus can be spread through your team !
But, after that a Pokémon has recovered from Pokérus, he can't get it again.
A small tip: If you want to keep Pokérus for later spread, stock an infected Pokémon in your PC !

its amazing ?! its like a disease that helps you and helps train your pokemon !
its like the best pokemon virus you could ever have :p
haha @D4rkDragon thats exactly what i do :p i have a few infected pokemon :p

Pokerus is a helpful disease that nets Pokemon double the EV's you would normally get. For example, if your Scyther has Pokerus, and you defeat a Vanillite, Vanillite gives you one Sp. Atk EV. However, with Pokerus, your Scyther would gain 2 EV's. It is really helpful in EV training.

ok so it is a good thing, :p i thought that it was bad because it was a virus. and thats cool that it helps with ev training.

I think my Delphox has Pokèrus, because it keeps shaking at the start of a battle and a message comes up, saying things like, "Blazei seems a little out of it."

That just means that your Pokémon loves you. Generally, these messages pop up when you have four hearts or more with a Pokémon in Pokémon-Amie. It doesn't mean that the Pokémon has Pokérus.

Oh, OK. But the lady in the Pokèmon Centre said that Blazei had Pokèrus, so I just assumed that it was a side-effect.

No. But if you check the (infected) Pokémon's status, a pink label with "Pokérus" inside should appear. That's the technique to check if a Pokémon has Pokérus !

Oh, OK. How do you check the status?

The only time where a disease is actually helpful...:p

you check ,by looking at the pokemon at the pc, or by check status when you tap the pokemon.

It seems like Blazei doesn't have Pokèrus, then.
