Possible characters in new updates?

is there a chance they will add more characters in a future updates?

Just like how they added bowser junior and duck hunt in one update, is there a chance they will add more characters in a future updates?

They weren't added in an update, since those two were on-disk/on-cartridge content.
And I doubt Sakurai will add more content to SSB4, aside from the (free) Mewtwo DLC. He said that adding characters is tough, plus, there are plenty of them in Smash, so, honestly, I doubt there will be more characters in an update.

i think its cause of the type of game engine it uses that might be why its tough

Nah, not because of that. It's because they have to do the animations and stuff like that, and it takes lots of money and time.
 
well i think that it should be toad if they do and dry browser i think daisy and maybe just just maybe Grodon or kyogere i don't think that is going to happen they would be way to op or latias or lateos maybe evan richu may be some younger evalution pokemon like charmander pichu and stuff like that.

It's a possibility, but probably not for awhile.
 
I don't think any new characters will be added except for Mewtwo. Apparently he isn't extremely keen on Mewtwo either.
 
I would say that it wouldn't be possible even though I would really want that to happen . Sakurai wasn't thrilled with putting DLC asides from the Mewtwo one but Smash is already an awesome game so it is very cool . However I do wish for there the be new characters in the future but that might be very very far far away from this time on though
 
maybe lucas wolf or pokemon trainer oh and ice climbers

Instead of adding new characters, they should bring old characters back like Snake, Wolf, ect.
