Possible NX feature

OK Guys! I don't know if you know this, but I heard that the NX might be cartridge compatible instead of disc compatible. If that's true, sign me up! Discs can get scratched, while it's less hard to break a cartridge! Also, it might be a handheld, like the 3DS! Again, I don't know if you know any of this! If you do, sorry for wasting your time! Comment if you agree or disagree with me that these new features are gonna be awesome! (That is, if they ARE true!)

I agree with the cartridge usage in case it's a handheld (I'm a believer of the handheld that can connect to TV to work as home console rumors) carts are more resistant to damage, generate less heat and take less physical space than discs, plus, an optic drive would rise costs more for little benefit.

Definitely yes for cartridges. They are compact, safer, much more resistant and they would take up a hell of a lot less space up. And certain discs would cost much more than carts would. But right now anything is possible really. It could be a handheld or a hybrid, maybe even a Barbie doll but you can't believe it all so I just envisjon it as a bog-standard plain console so I can be amazed when it comes out.

Hmm... On one side, cartridges ARE harder to break, but they are also much easier to lose. I've never lost a disc, but I have lost a game card once before. But I'm fine either way, as long as we don't need to spend another thirty dollars on a official cartridge cleaner. >.>

I might prefer cartridge compatible instead of disks because they are less huge to carry, so you can put them in your pocket (maybe, depending on how big the cartridges are) which always helps.
