possible trend?

I actually just thought of something, first on the GameBoy we had 2 games (R/G/B, and G/S/C) then on the GBA we had 2 more games (FR/LG, R/S/E) then on the DS we had 3 (D/P/Pt, HG/SS, Bw/Bw2) then 3 more on the 3ds (X/Y, OR/AS, S/M) it seems like each generation console gets at least one more title than the last one, anyone else see the trend or is it just me?

i think it might just be game consoles are getting more advanced so the time between new releases that would cause the game to change (requiring a new console) is more
for example, the 3ds offers a lot, fairly good graphics for mobile, 3d feature, and many different features-they could just update the 3ds for important things
not many people bought the n3ds compared to the 3ds- the 3ds would have to have a limit that a lot of a games nowadays dont like if a new system was going to be made
but because of the wiiu, any game that doesn't go well on the 3ds, can go on the wiiu or even ps4 and xbox1 for non-nintendo games

Maybe it's just a random coincidence but who knows? There probably won't be another Pokemon game for the 3DS in my opinion (asides from Sun and Moon) until whatever new next generation console which could be anything. I wonder if adding all the spin-off titles would show anything

First, I wouldn't consider Black & White and Black 2 & White 2
