It is because I started a debate with a friend, I think that the Meta Knight of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. What do you think?

i would say the one in Smash 4 because while he does less damage normally, he still has great combos that can do almost much damage as before. even his new up special can easily take out most other fighters, while only making his recovery slightly worse.

his down air is slightly worse, his up air is also worse, recovery is too, is jab is too, his up smash is worser. But meta knight is still a good character. His combos are good but not as good as brawl. I not too sure the creators know how to balance meta knight. The up air and down air hit ratio significantly decreased. The up smash does not always hit characters on the ground next to meta. Recovery can kill, but recovery in brawl can kill too with better recovery. His jab attack is front side, no long both sides.

Brawl, definetely Brawl. They nerfed him so much in smash 4! Some changes in his moveset was that in brawl, his up air could be used to fly, but in smash 4 he just jump upwards. He had much better combos in brawl, and he still has, only a little worse. In brawl, he was even banned from tourneys because of his OPness

I think that I would vote for the Meta Knight in Super Smash Brothers Brawl since Meta Knight did change a lot much in the new Super Smash Brothers and they did remove some features .

In the new Super Smash Brother , Meta Knight can still do most of his combos and all , but he still is changed since he isn't exactly the same strong-ness in Brawl .

Let's just say Meta Knight in brawl was a monster in the hands of a good player. Ssb4 meta knight is good but he doesn't really have the viability to meet up to brawl meta knight

Meta Knight was definitely better in Brawl than Smash 4. His recovery is bad in Smash and you can lo long glide when you are doing your Up-b. Also his standard b has been nerfed and can flinch while doing it, so thats a plus. So technically, every thing about Meta Knight has gotten nerfed.
