Remember the Primid from the Subspace Emissary? Well, when I recently replayed it, I found the Primid has some interesting moves I've never noticed. And from that, I felt the Primid has potential being a fighter in the Smash Bros Ballot, not that I voted for him. First, the Primid would be a proper Smash Bros representative unlike the Miis, which represent yourself. Second, the Subspace Emissary easily provides it a moveset. It provides a combo, it's forward Smash could be the Primid's charge punch. It can have the rapid punch as its combo. And I noticed when it's ducking then jumping, it could be the Primid's recovery move. And sometimes, when the Primid is about to land next to you, it already has an aerial move which could be its down air. As for other moves, Sakurai could make up some and borrow for other forms of Primids. It's side b could be the boomerang, forward tilt could make the Primid use a sword. It's forward Smash could be similar to Mii Gunner's with the Primid using a scope. It's neutral b could be spitting out a fireball and it's a chargeable move. And for alternate skins, the Supspace Emissary provides two, the Fire Primid and Metal Primid. So what do you guys think, does the Primid deserve to be a fighter?

Sorry, but the fact that it was only in one game means that he has little to offer to the series overall. There are more deserving characters, and I dont think that Smash Bros needs a rep. Smash Bros is a reunion for Nintendo characters that have showed their importance and potential to show up for this game. The potential for the moveset is there, but with low popularity and not enough history, Primid doesnt really have a chance for Smash Bros.

So? Before Smash Bros, the Duck Hunt Dog and Ice Climbers were never really popular and they still made it in

They are part of Nintendo's history, and are part of the NES Era. They were popular, as Duck Hunt was one of the most popular games on the NES. The games focused on those characters, while the SSE focused on the array of Nintendo characters, not just the Primid.

Is it just me but I'm surprised no one voted for Nester.

Though Primid has that potential , it's most likely not going to happen , in my opinion because the Super Smash Brothers series characters consists mostly of different Nintendo game series characters so although the character is well off to be in the roster , it is most likely not :p
