Will they make a new mario game?

I made a blog post but no one read it, it was inaccurate and just a prediction so this will be a good prediction. What I mean by new is fresh, not an hd remake. I want a new mario game, a galaxy 3, sunshine 2, a open world mario game, etc. Problem is, is making a long, awesome game possible? Unless it was a secret and it turns out they are making a new mario game. That is the antidote for zelda wii u and it will be the flagship title this year or maybe next. What do you think will happen? Will they make it or only focus on zelda. Also, this is for wii u, obviously.
 
They already confirmed a new 3D Mario game is in the works last year or the year before (not 3D World) so it's only a matter of time. I do NOT want Galaxy 3. Way too linear. Something completely new or a Sunshine sequel would be nice.

Ah, who am I kidding. I want a Super Mario 64 HD.
 
I personally think that there might be a new 3d Mario game but to be honest , I think that it is really quite hard to tell , though I know that having a new one would be better . I'd really prefer having a new 3d Mario game more than a remake but I guess that either is better than nothing :p
 
If they are going to make another 3d mario game first they need to look at super mario rpg. The mario and Luigi games are fun but not that much like a rpg as much. The only Paper Mario game I have played is the 3ds one which is probably the worst attempt at making a rpg ever. In case you couldn't tell by the foreshadowing I want another Mario rpg
 
I think they will announce one. I don't know if it will be for Wii U or 3ds though. I think it could in fact be a New 3DS Exclusive Title, or maybe they'll have a new 3D Mario game for Wii U and a Galaxy 1 remake on the New 3DS. I don't think they won't announce one, but I have a feeling it might be for the New 3DS over the old 3DS or the Wii U.
 
I'm pretty sure the next big Mario game won't be releasing until the NX makes its way onto store shelves. There is also the possibility that it might be for the Wii U. Who knows? Maybe Nintendo will simply make two versions of the game for each console (Wii U and NX - whatever platform the NX will be). That way, everyone will be happy.
 
Maybe Nintendo will release a sequel instead. I think a completely new series will be on the nx while a sequel to galaxy or the 3d world series to the wii u will satisfy me. We need some type of 3d mario game. I want a galaxy 3 but other people would want something different. My hopes will come at E3. I am counting on you nintendo. Mario will be perfect since zelda is off the table.
 
I'm pretty sure future Mario Games will allude to the galaxy games, but not actually become an official sequel. Super Mario 3D Land and World certainly had Super Mario Galaxy-like attributes to them and that's probably going to be the extent of it.

I mean, I think they still will make mario for the wii u still. I think a completely new series will come back to the nx while the wii u will make a 3d world 2, a galaxy 3, sunshine 2, etc. I guess in my opinion, a pack of a super mario galaxy 3 and a sunshine hd will make me preorder it immediatly. Plus, it will be fair for both the sunshine and galaxy fans. I just know a new mario game will be announced for the wii u, plus its marios 30th birthday. I know nintendo will release a new mario game, I just know it will.

Nintendo did state that they weren't planning on making a new Main series mario game anytime this year so probably Mario Maker is the only Mario thing we have left for the year

Well, making a mario game is hard. It took 3 years for mario 3d world so I think a 2016 release date is possible.
