Professor Layton for Smash?

I'm not the only only person who had high hopes for the Professor entering smash right? After all, he has had seven games(including PLvPW) and a movie. Plus, smash bros could use a couple more intellectual yet agile characters right? :/

I know that DLCs are finished. I was just saying that it would have been amazing if the professor made the a appearance is all.

I don't think Prof. Layton would really be suited to a fighting game. Sure, he HAS used a sword before, but only the one time, to memory and when he gets in fights, or has to take down guards, he'll almost always use a covert method that doesn't include touching them in any way.

as hajimakairu says, Layton is too kind! Smash's world would ruin his character. Maybe a good fighter for the game from Layton's world would be Emmy Altava. She knows martial arts. She fits quite well in super smash in my opinion.

Yeah, she does fit into smash, but I'm not quite sure about her either, as there is the question of what her moveset would be.

But what about Villager? You never really fight anything in Animal Crossing and he made it in! Its all a matter of inspiration really.

Yes, Ive seen other people want Professor Layton in Smash. I think a magazine once "leaked" Layton for Smash, but it was fake. Recently, there was some rumor going around that listed Professor Layton's voice actor in the Smash Bros credits. It also turned out to be fake.
