Fates Profiteer not working?

So, in Fates I have been recently trying to grind exp with the ol' Midori chuggin' around. She activates the skill, but when I go to her inventory she only has the first gold bar from the battle. When I return to the castle, she doesn't have any gold bars at ALL. Help?

Sounds a bit weird situation, but maybe your Midori has the Spendthrift skill and that'd be why she has no gold bars when you check her inventory
