anyone played this classic console? what did you think of it and the games?

The graphics weren't all that great, but what do you expect? It had some good games, Crash bandicoot being one of them, I think? xD
 
Only games I had on this were the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games. All were fun, especially Crash Bash.
 
Loved the PS1 for 5h gen consoles. :) Never owned a Saturn but always wante done, but the PSone's library just couldn't be matched. The final fantasy games back then were so much better, the RPGs in general were fantastic, then you had games like Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. Truly amazing games. :)
 
I loved it when I was growing up. So many amazing games on it, and the PS1 is where my love of JRPGs really bloomed. Final Fantasy I-IX and Tactics, Chrono Trigger/Cross (never had Trigger for SNES), and Legend of Dragoon are games that I really loved. Spyro 1-3 were other games that I absolutely loved for it as well.

Sadly there are a ton of games I missed out on for the PS1, but luckily I can get most of them on PSN now. Alundra, Legend of Mana, and Vagrant Story are three of the major ones that I missed out on.
