Looks like you can use the new PS5 DualSense controller with the Nintendo Switch, but you'll need an 8bitdo wireless adapter to successfully connect it. It's been confirmed to be working with the PS4 controller as well.

Anyone with both tried this yet?

Would you buy an 8bitdo adapter just to connect your PlayStation controller to your Switch?

Id rather buy a pro controller. The adapter is 20 bucks. You could buy a good quality third party controller for 20 bucks (PowerA).

i totally would, in fact ive been looking into buying one! pro controller like 60 bucks, while adapter is 20, and i already got ps4 and xbox1 controllers. dont got ps5 yet, and prob for a while....and ill most likely be using my xbox controller.

That would be awesome to use it for Switch games! I also heard it doesn’t connect to PS4, but does on PS3. Very strange.
