PS5 vs Xbox X vs Switch

As of 2020 these are the 3 CONFIRMED consoles (so switch pro doesnt count). Which is better? its for you to decide. Here are the pros of each console:
Switch:
Everyone should know this by now but this is the only portable console compared to the other two.
The switch is lighter and smaller than the other 2 (for portable gameplay)
It has a touch screen and 720p in handheld and 1080p in docked.
it has about 7 hours of battery life. no backwards compatibility sadly
The only console to play EXCLUSIVE switch games (duh)
300 bucks
Xbox X:
Can have 8K resolutions (wow)
Obviously more powerful than the switch
no battery life since its plugged into an outlet
NO PORTABILITY (so no playing in long car trips. bummer.)
most importantly:no animal crossing
PS5:
Backwards compatibility
Actual good vr [sorry nintendo but cardboard just doesn't cut it(see that pun i made? cut it? it's dumb i know)]
expected to be 400 bucks. quite expensive.......
similair to x box with no portability and 8k resolutions



These are the current speculations with pros and some cons. In my opinion i'm for the switch through and through (if i wasn't opting for the switch, this post would probably be on a website called pspedia or xboxpedia or something). I really like the portability and no portability for the other 2 is a HUGE bummer for me. I just hope nintendo brings us a GOOD vr system and not a crappy rip off (*cough* virtual boy *cough*).
but other than that its the perfect console with AMAZING games. what would you guys want and why?

I really don't think the switch is comparable to consoles that aren't even out yet. The switch launched in early 2017, with that logic, you might as well add every other console currently in existance to the list.

They're also totally different consoles for different markets. Handheld consoles will always be less powerful then regular consoles, and nintendo has ALWAYS lacked in power anyway. The switch also isn't supposed to be this high end gaming machine unlike the Xbox X and PS5.

They all have their pros, they all have their cons, but they're not comparable. Only the xbox and playstation are.

Maybe as the original PS4, but likely won't reach the PS4 pro's levels. As I said, Nintendo has always been behind in terms of power.

Well, I already have a nintendo switch and I love it! But if i could chose one console that I want from the 3 here I would want a ps5. The xbox x sounds amazing but it doesn't have a lot of intrest to me. I already have a ps4 so I would probably kbow hoe to use it and has a great number of third party supported games. But if I didn't already have my switch I would have chosen the switch because of the amazing first party game support. I can take it anywhere, bring it to play with friends, play during long trips and just having great accessibility to bring around. The only thing I would complain about is the joy con drift, I haven't experienced it yet but what I've about it, I don't look forward to having it.

I think the xbox one x is better than both the switch and the PS5. Xbox offers free games for a decent price along with it's online service. Switch has tried to follow in xbox's footsteps with NSO but has left fans quite disappointed. PS5 so far as been getting a bad rep for looking like a router and we don't know how much better it's gonna be from the xbox one x. So far all we know are the games coming out for it, the design of the console, and that it's gonna cost a lot of money. The switch is good for on the go gaming though the switch is not really good with graphically demanding games like overwatch and L.A. Noir. However, a plus side the Nintendo switch has is crossplay along with the xbox one x. Though Xbox one still reigns supreme over all three of the consoles cause of the positives it has and what it offers.
