Nintendo 3DS Legend
Towns Folk
Just been and read about this online, and this is pretty bad. This is even more proof that Nintendo really didn't care about this app and it was just an afterthought.
This is an image of someone's switch from around 20 mins of playing dr mario with the filter on.
At first glance it looks a lot like burn in, right? Well, after doing some digging I've found other sources explaining this in more detail, and it's not a permanent issue however you should still be careful about it in-case it's more of an issue then thought.
The issue is a rendering issue, this was realised when people where posting about the pixels moving, and changing colour. Apparently if you load a NES game with the filter on and close it, that'll get rid of the glitch until you play a game with the filter on again for a little while.
But really though, Nintendo? No testing was done? This issue is an issue with the software and the switch together. Doesn't suprise me though with how bad the files are for the actual emulator and the game files themselves.
