I had a neat idea for a tournament.... seeing as mewtwo comes out next Monday I wanted to host a tournament to see the best of the best in terms of psychic (or magic) fighters! You can use any fighters who use psychic or magic abilities except Luigi and Mario (I don't count fire as magic.)

RULES:
-A psychic, pokemon, angelic, or magician fighter. In other words:
Ness, Lucas Zelda, Mewtwo, Lucario, Palutena, Robin, Pikachu, Charizard, Ganandorf (only 3), Jigglypuff, Greninja, Pit,Rosalina or Dark Pit. (Mii fighters only allowed custom boosts)

-1 fighter throughout the tourney

-Best 2 out of 3 matches

-2 stock 5 minute matches on any Omega form stage

-Entry fee is 2 PC

-2 day period to complete matches. Will be considered a forefiet if you fail to fight your assigned enemy.

Prizes will be 16 playcoins to the champion and 8 playcoins to the semi champ.

There will be 16 fighters in this tourney. The tourney will start 1 day after we get all 32.

There will be 1 Q
ualifying round, 3 Normal rounds, A semi-final and A final. No loser bracket.

Please, Refrain from sandbagging.

I know you don't count fire so captain falcon is out, but what about ganondorf? Does darkness count?

Honestly... I would consider him a warrior mage, however... due to the light nature of a decent bit of characters this tournament is limited to, Ganandorf... would probably destroy the competition.... I am hosting another tournament open to all characters but mewtwo tho.

On second thought I guess it's fair. As I said, he is a battle mage after all....

Almost unfair that Ganon's allowed but not Mario and Luigi, who actually summon some Fire, and Rosalina and Luma, since Rosalina has a wand and activates Luma from a distance and can absorb projectiles with her wand as well. Ill join if theres enough people. Seems like an interesting theme.

Somewhat true. I was debating it. Ganondorf has moves prioritizing his dark magic. So I went ahead and allowed him. Mario and Luigi only have fire going for them. Ganandorf has warlock punch, his side special, and the warlock kick. He is quite literally an OP magician. I'll probably allow rosalina cuz that is a good argument. I'll get back to you with that around 4.
