Ultimate Questions about Adventure Mode fighters in Smash Ultimate

So I tried Smash Ultimate's adventure mode and finding that apparently I can only pick one of the three fighters, Marth, Sheik or Villager. If let's say I picked one of them, I heard that the two others would be inaccessible. So I want to ask, can I eventually reach out to the other two later on as I progress?

There are actually two ways to get back to the other fighters after you pick one, so yes, they are definitely able to be attained later on in the game.
