Ok, so we know about the big debates of a link to the past vs ocarina of time or ocarina of time vs majora's mask, which causes lots of division among the fans, so I'm going to be doing random polls about zelda games most people don't compare, so this time, it is:
Link's Awakening(GB)/DX (GBC): considered by many the first zelda to have a real story and introduced many staples to the series like the trading sidequests, fishing (I think) and the dungeon formula (1st half->miniboss->item->2nd half)
Twilight Princess(GCN/Wii)/HD(Wii U): After complaints about WW's artstyle and apparent childish nature (not saying the game is childish), nintendo decided to make a game with a more "realistic" artstyle and a darker tone, and ended up as the first and so far only T rated zelda game. It was also released on the wii, making use of its motion controls for various things. It had many new mechanics and fun items like the wolf form and the double clawshot, and many people liked it's story, with many fans saying its ending is one of the saddest moments on the franchise (though that could also be said for LA)
