How is my mamoswine?

Mamoswine(Mamoswinub)
Adamant nature, Thick fat ability,item focus sash.
252 atk 252 speed 4 def

-Ice shard
-earthquake
-icicle crash
-stealth rock

Description:My lead pokemon. It's priority is to set up stealth rock,and then if it gets hit uses an ice shard to break their focus sash.
 
It's a good set, but I think you should go for a mixed EV spread and replace Icicle Crash.
Ice Shard is a priority move anyways, so that means you will go first.
The Optimal EV spread is 252 Atk/128 Def/128 Speed.
This allows you to tank a lot of hits as well as be fast.
Icicle Crash should be replaced by Return, as Mamoswine is a premium target for Fighting types and return causes a lot of damage.

It's the common focus sash set so yeah, it's good :p

I use Jolly for the extra speed to earthquake and icicle crash slower Pokemon.
 
All in all it's a good set. I wouldn't like to fight you :D
It isn't very mega powered but is OK if you're looking for a quick battle.
 
I'm not a good competitive battler :(
 
That's a pretty good set, and the focus sash can allow it to kill faster Pokemon, or 2HKO defensive ones.

I personally have a preference for this set though.

Nature: Adamant
Ability: Thick Fat
Item: Weakness Policy
252 Attack, 140 Sp. Def, 116 Speed

Moves:
  • Ice Shard
  • Icicle Crash
  • Earthquake
  • Superpower (Its main purpose if killing Tyranitar)
This set has been working great for me. With its high Sp. Def and Thick Fat, Mamoswine can easily be switched in when expecting a weak fire attack (Fireblast from Slowbro or Tyranitar) and tank the hit, as well as most unboosted fire attacks (with no sun of course). This works great with weakness policy, and can allow Mamoswine to sweep.

Here is a battle I've had with it on showdown. Would have been a complete sweep, but my opponent forfeited :p I'm AnotherInfinity in this battle just in case you wondered :p

well its more or less the same lol but Coverage is always a good thing to have lol with stone edge, you can hit TFlame hard, Fire-types and other Ice Types lol Though STAB Icicle Crash can do decent damage too lol.
