Rate this Nuzlocke idea

It is a parlocke, it is a nuzlocke, but when challenging gym leaders, you can only use the same number of pokemon as him/her, if you use more or less than him/her, you will have to release the difference (in your team, it doesn't matter if you have 6 against roark and only use 1, you'll still have to release 3). If you want to make it even harder, while the team restriction I put in the parenthesis wouldn't be present as you would have to investigate every single trainer's team, you could apply this to all trainer battles. Um, that's an optional Nuzlocke rule too, I'm using it in my one. Plus it's just a bit time consuming to have to put the Pokemon back in the PC and all just to have the same number in your team; as long as you only use 3 of them it should be fine

I don't think you've created an absolutely new idea though: do the other Nuzlocke rules still apply?

So you're trying to say that you should have the same number of Pokemon as the opponent.Am I right? Or are you trying to say you can only use one Pokemon against your opponent? I'm really confused .By the way what game are you gonna start a nuzlocke on?

Well something like that does really make the challenge a whole lot more interesting and harder There are really a lot of different nuzlockes around . It's a pretty cool idea for a nice challenge . @DeathDragon I think I do believe that the other rules will apply because if it didn't .... well yeah

Yes, other rules still apply and yes, you use the same number of pokemon against the gym leader (or any opponent if you want)

nuzlockes are actually pretty cool but its pretty bland without the spice of 3dsPedia My brother started a nuzlocke on pokemon Ruby. Its pretty interesting but doing it online makes it real interesting

Using the same number of Pokemon as a Gym Leader has is an optional rule. Manic over at the Nuzlocke Forum used it in his latest two runs. But, I can recommend a challenge I came up with. It's called the Lifelocke.

This isn't really a "new" idea... but I think that releasing the pokemon instead of the rule where you just use the same number of Pokemon as the gym leader is nice addition I think that it would make Nuzlockes much more interesting and harder if you think you need a larger challenge.
