Today I'm asking how would you rate these six games: Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie's Double Trouble, Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. Feel free to add your opinions on these games, experiences and memories of these games. And you can also add anything about the DKC trilogy's ports and DKC Returns' remake Returns 3D. Have a good day!

I have Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and the game is really difficult. It's hard to get used to the controls and I keep getting hit by stuff and falling off :p I usually play it with my little sister and I find it really easier to play with dixie kong cause she has the flying thing. I think I did 7 levels or something and I'm stuck xD

I've played DKCR and it's a really good game. It lacks any water levels but focuses more on hiding goodies (like the original DKC or it's GBA port) and uses some creative new ways of playing the game. Some may set it back like motion controls (shaking the remote to blow to find hidden goodies or move on, hand slapping, and using Diddy on DK like the keg as well as making the rhino go faster) but other times it's more dependent on precision by pressing or holding one button on the DK rocket. And this game is also dependent on you holding a button to climb plants on the ceiling, walls, or moving objects. It also has a few mine levels to even things out.

All the levels are well thought out and it has a bit of replayability. It's worthy of the DKC name but it's not exactly a throwback with all the same ideas either.

I even went as far as getting both the Wii and 3DS versions. Mirror Mode will really change the way you think about the levels.

Donkey Kong Country Returns was one of the many games I left to buy last year due to the DS and the Wii begining to disappear from the market, and I was happy I got this little one just in time. The game is very fun and challenging mixed by some awesome level design and rewarding collectables, which are a ton.I died a lot on the first levels of the game, but mostly due to getting used to the pace of the game, which is very unique and entertaining the whole way through. It's one of the best Wii games I played in quite a while, although old-school veterans may be a bit disappointed that there isn't a lot going on compared to the original trilogy as I saw by some people who played the game, but for me,it's a blast to play. :)
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze though, was even more amazing than its predecessor, surprisingly for me.The game had more variety of its own,and even more collectables which add to the challenge when you include the factor that some of these are only obtainable when you have Diddy Kong,Dixie Kong or Cranky Kong(the last two being new here, but mostly Cranky, who undoubtely plays just like Scrooge McDuck did in DuckTales),who help a lot during the adventure.Oh,and the difficulty here seems to be higher than last time. This is close as being my favorite Wii U game, and definetly up there as one of the best platformers in recent modern years. :D
